We received a great welcome from the owners and their lovely dogs. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a modern en-suite.. Dinner and breakfast on the terrace was delightful.

The Geco Verde is in a beautiful, peaceful rural location, a naturalist´s paradise, especially for those who enjoy birdwatching and botany. You can just sit on the terrace and watch the avian delights. The polyglot owners are genuinely friendly and helpful: they made our stay truly memorable. Great food too!

This hotel is situated in the most lovely setting. Because of this it is not very car friendly. The Hotel is down a very difficult dirt track about 3 km long but once you are there it is worth it. The setting is lovely and quiet and peaceful. The staff are a small family and done everything to make our stay good. Unfortunately they had a water leak the day we arrived that the council had not repaired so there was no water. Bottled water was supplied and buckets for the toilet. No hot water for washing or showers though. Lets hope the council have fixed it as the hotel it self is lovely.

Very genial hosts; modern well appointed rooms; good value evening meal
The road to the hotel - they were about to have it improved! I would phone the owners before attempting the track in wet weather - they are happy to collect in their 4 wheel drive... oh - and they speak perfect English.

Fantastic location once you found it great hosts views
The long drive from the main road dont take a new car 4x4 would be better.

A nice property with beautiful views of the countryside and olive groves. A friendly family run guest house with 6 rooms of various sizes that cater for couples and families with children. The guest house is pet friendly so we could take our Yorkshire terrier puppy.
A difficult hotel to find, we recommend that you phone for directions before your journey.

This is an exceptional hotel because of its location (perched on a hilltop on the edge of the sierra Castril) and the friendliness of the owners who cannot do enough to make you welcome. The walks and wildlife observing opportunities in the area are a legion and the commitment of the owners to eco policies are admirable
